Belfast is a paradise for those who like to shop (who doesn’t?) with lots of shops, shopping street and a very special shopping centre all located very close to one another. From the City Hall you can walk along Donegall Square (a street) and here you will find Zara and other famous stores. And, the street itself is a beauty! After passing down the street you should head for the Victoria Square, the location of the most modern shopping mall in Northern Ireland and Belfast. It has a special design, so it almost feels as if you are walking outdoors, even though you are on the inside. In addition the mall has a great lookout tower from where you can enjoy the view of Belfast, for free (you only need to stand in line for the elevator, or walk the stairs).
Another shopping centre in the centre of Belfast is the Castlecourt centre. On the inside of this the famous Debenhams department store can be found. If you want to find this, just walk along Donegall Square and continue onto the Royal Avenue, and in the end of the Royal Avenue, you will find it. This is also a very nice area for shopping for smaller shops and for a walk in a nice area, so do not miss out on it.
The Castle Court centre and the Victoria Square both has large parking lots, so if you come with car to Belfast, these are good places for safe and good parking in the centre of Belfast.
As a tourist it might not be that interesting, but not long ago Northern Ireland got its first IKEA shop, and that is of course located in Belfast as well, though not in the city center.
